How to leave a gift to the South Georgia Heritage Trust

It’s often much easier to leave a gift in your will than you may think. We would be happy to provide some advice and support if you are thinking about including a gift and don’t know how to start. We’ll ask about your areas of interest related to South Georgia, so we can achieve more with your precious support into the future.

Here are some steps you can take in the meantime to begin your legacy giving journey:

• State in your will that you would like to leave a gift in your will to charity. We recommend you use a legal professional, such as a solicitor, to write or make changes to your will.
• Include our full name and address, along with our charity registration number, so you can be certain the gift in your will benefits South Georgia, its wildlife, environment and heritage: South Georgia Heritage Trust, Verdant Works, West Henderson’s Wynd, Dundee, DD1 5BT, UK, registered Scottish charity number SC036819.
• Include any wishes regarding how you would like the Trust to use your generous gift. Again, we would be very happy to chat to you and learn about your interests to help fulfil your wishes through giving in your will.
