Two whale researchers who specialise in studying Orca will describe their work in South Georgia and Antarctica. Jared Towers is a whale researcher, author, and captain who works primarily on Killer Whales. He studies the behavioural ecology and culture of whales. Leigh Hickmott is a whale biologist with specialist knowledge of Killer Whales who is known for being the Antarctic Killer Whale scientific advisor for the wave washing sequences on Frozen Planet II.
The webinar will be hosted by the SGHT and UK Antarctic Heritage Trust CEOs and is expected to last just over an hour, with an opportunity to ask the Killer Whale researchers questions.
It is also the official launch of the SGHT UKAHT charity online auction.
